Introducing “Fundraising Summer Camp,” a dynamic five-week course led by fundraising experts Nancy Lamar and Kenny Sigler. This immersive program tackles five key areas crucial for success, equipping you with the knowledge and strategies to excel. Each weekly session blends group training with targeted small group discussions where you can ask questions, share experiences, and refine your fundraising skills.

All sessions will be from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Genecov Room in the Tyler Chamber Building. Luncheon location TBD.

Building a Development Plan

This session will guide “campers” through creating effective and sustainable plans that raise money and build lasting donor relationships.

Donor Relations and Stewardship

Discover how to cultivate strong relationships with your donors. We’ll go through the principles of good donor stewardship and how to apply them.

Messaging and Communications

Learn how to identify and craft clear, impactful messages that you can use to inspire action and build lasting relationships with your supporters.

Learn how to implement the right infrastructure and systems to streamline processes, boost efficiency, and ultimately, maximize your fundraising success.

Board Engagement

This session will discuss how to assess board strengths, set clear expectations, and identify engaging activities that leverage their skills. We’ll also discuss how to utilize a development committee.

Board Training Luncheon

Participants will be allowed to invite board members of their organization to a luncheon where we will discuss what it takes to be a healthy highly productive board of directors.
